Terms & Condition

Discount values are as specified on the discount. The reward is not a cash reward; it is a voucher (of our choice at that time) of the value specified. Each discount code is valid for a limited time only and expires on the date specified in the offer. A coupon cannot be used to pay for taxes, shipping and handling or other charges.

Refund Policy:

We accept refunds only if the box is still packaged and unopened. If the box is faulty, we will replace the existing box, however the following procedure must be followed;
– Contact Lebara Customer service
– Lebara will send a box in which you must send the faulty box back
– Replacement box will be sent to you within 14 days of receiving the original box.

Existing Chitram customers:

If you are an existing Chitram customer and still have a valid subscription, we can add a maximum of three months to your Lebara Play subscription.

You must return your Chitram box to us and provide your Lebara Play Mac ID to add the extra 3 months.

Existing Lebara Play customers:

If you refer new customers, you can get up to 2 months extra on each paid referral!

The new customer must enter your email address (on the discount space) registered on your Lebara Play account. They will receive £15 off their purchase.

Within 15 days of purchase, we will add the extra 2 months to your subscription and let you know when this has been completed.

Click And Collect

If you chose to collect your order from a store, the time and store for collection will be confirmed with you when you place your order.

You must provide your order reference number to the retailer when collecting your order from store.  (Please note, we will not be able give you your order unless you produce an appropriate form of I.D.)

An order confirmation form should be completed and signed by you whom you should give to the retailer as confirmation of order collection.

Please note that you will not be able to collect your order earlier than the selected time. Should you arrive late, you may be able to collect your order, however, please speak with the member of our staff at the collection point who will be able to assist you on this matter.

Cancellation

You have 14 days to cancel your order after the goods have come into your possession. This will only apply if the product is still in its package and unopened.

Whilst we make every effort to have your order ready for collection at the selected time, please note we will not be accountable if we fail to do so in part or in full due to circumstances not in our control.

 

 

1: Sale and Purchase

1.1 The sale, by us or purchase by you of items is subject to the terms and conditions outlined below. Any contract with respect to goods being supplied by us does not come into effect until your order has been accepted and processed. Confirmation of your order from this site does not therefore constitute acceptance of an order.

1.2 All sales for satellite and tv reception equipment are made on the understanding that;
(a) We are not in control of broadcast transmissions. With respect to all subscription & service based products please be aware that all sales are final once subscriptions / services are activated / registered with the broadcaster. This also applies to any non subscription products which allow access to encrypted broadcasts and are activated and assigned to an end user at the point of sale or upon first use. With respect to viewing cards, services & pre paid subscriptions we act merely as agents for overseas broadcasters / service providers and are not connected with them in any way and whilst we will provide unlimited support for equipment we have sold, we are actually only “contracted” to supply tv equipment not to supply actual programmes. We therefore cannot be held responsible should a broadcaster (or any affiliated company or service supplier) cease broadcasting, change encryption type, move frequency / Satellite or make any change to the broadcast transmission or its content whatsover including merging with other broadcasters or re-branding of their services.
(b) If current legislation changes then it may become illegal to renew or assist in the service of subscriptions.
(c) Viewing by minors of any adult material is prohibited; the end user must make appropriate steps to ensure parental controls are in force.

1.3 Satellite Viewing Cards, Subscriptions and Receiving Equipment are sold on the understanding that they are to be used for private domestic viewing purposes only.

Therefore you must not under any circumstances redistribute, rebroadcast any part of the encrypted broadcast, sell or make a charge for viewing any part of the services, or view, authorise or permit any 3rd party to show any part of any service in a public place, private place, communal area (eg a Pub, Club, Nightclub, Hotel, Members Club, etc), in fact anywhere besides a domestic home (for domestic viewing by the purchaser) irrespective of whether a charge has been made for admission or to view the service.

We will refuse / cancel any order that appears or we suspect to be an abuse of these terms and conditions and refund all monies.

We will not be liable for any misuse of any equipment sold for domestic viewing purposes as we have no control over use once sold.

2: Price

2.1 All prices quoted on this site are in pounds Sterling & Euros, and are given inclusive of UK vat @ 20% from Jan 4th 2011, and exclusive of vat for non EC Countries. Our banking is processed in Pounds Sterling and Euro rates are given as an indication only but are regularly checked and compared to XE.COM. We cannot be responsible for currency fluctuations. Our ordering system will adjust the amount charged for all viewing card and Cam orders to all destinations including Vat & Carriage.

2.2 Postage and Packing is charged on all UK retail orders at the rate of £4.99 plus vat (£5.99 inc vat) for small packets that contain cards, cams, and any item up to 1kg to be sent by Royal Mail Recorded Delivery, or Special Delivery and £10.00 plus vat for next day delivery of heavy parcels over 1kg that contain receivers, dishes etc by Royal Mail, Parcelforce, Fastaway, City Link or Interlink Express. *2-5 days UK Islands & UK Highlands. Please note that a surcharge may be made at cost for delivery of courier parcels exceeding 2kg to “Highland & Island” Destinations, however where we can use Royal Mail who make no extra charge to us, no extra charge will be made to the customer.

2.21 Postage and Packing is charged on all Channel Islands; Jersey, Guernsey, Alderney retail orders at the rate of £4.99 for small packets that contain cards, cams, and any item up to 500g to be sent by Royal Mail Recorded Delivery, or Special Delivery and £25 for delivery of heavy parcels over 1kg that contain receivers by an appropriate courier.

2.3 Postage and Packing on export orders to EU, Norway & Switzerland is charged at a rate of £8.33 plus vat* (£9.99 inc vat) for all cards and Cams sent by Royal Mail up to a weight of 200g. *Vat is not applicable to orders to Norway & Switzerland.

2.31 Postage and Packing on export orders to other Worldwide destinations including Middle east & USA is charged at a rate of £9.99 for all cards and Cams sent by Royal Mail up to a weight of 200g.

2.32 Courier Services using DHL / UPS etc for overseas customers are available for viewing cards and other lightweight items. These services are particularly suited to customers in the Middle East. However these premium services do incur additional charges beyond normal postage costs which need to be quoted for individually and are affected by destination, market conditions, risk and other factors. The additional charge will need to be agreed prior to ordering and taken after the order has been placed and will be non refundable once booked with the courier.

2.4 Free Delivery may be offered as a promotional offer on selected products. However please be aware that free delivery is only offered on selected products, to selected geographical regions and where an order includes items that are not being offered with free delivery then a delivery charge will be made that will overide any free delivery option.

* Prices quoted are for Royal Mail Service only, which may not suit all destinations. DHL / UPS / Datapost will incur an additional charge. Heavier items between the weight of 200g and 1kg for export may incur a small surcharge dependant upon weight, value and destination. Any postal surcharges will be advised upon prior to dispatch and subsequently charged as an additional transaction.

** Bulky items going to some destinations may incur an additional carriage charge dependant on volumetric weight and value. Any courier surcharges will be advised upon prior to dispatch and if accepted subsequently charged as an additional transaction.

Our standard delivery charges for sending parcels (of weight 1kg+) overseas is charged as follows;

Zone 2 Channel Islands – £25.00 plus vat,
Zone 3 Republic of Ireland – £25.00 plus vat,
Zone 4 Belgium, Netherlands, Luxembourg, France, Germany, Denmark, Italy, Spain, Greece – £35.00 plus vat,
Zone 5 Rest of Europe – £45.00 plus vat,
Zone 6 USA, Canada, Australia & New Zealand – £70.00 plus vat,
Zone 7 Rest Of World – £95.00 plus vat

2.5 Prices are subject to change at any time, and we reserve the right to vary any price at any given time on this site without prior notice.

3: Payment

3.1 Payment for online, telephone and faxed orders must be made in Pounds Sterling only by major credit or debit cards as listed: Visa, Delta, Master Card, Maestro & Electron. We accept Amex for mail order payments (made by phone, fax, post) but not currently for e-commerce transactions. We can accept payment by Sterling Cheque either by post at our offices. Mail Order items will be despatched upon clearance of funds and callers to our offices wishing to make purchases must have guaranteed means of payment. Please refer to our opening times outlined in paragraph 11 below.

We DO NOT accept credit / debit card payments sent by postal mail or unsecure means eg open e-mails due to security concerns.

3.2 Unless we agree otherwise your order will only be delivered to the address of the person who is the holder of the credit or debit card used to purchase the products. We will perform security checks on overseas orders and if your order is reported by our payment services provider as “High Risk” then this may cause a delay whilst procedures are followed.

4: Passing of Property

Any product will remain our property until full payment has been made by you, has been received by us, and has been cleared by our bankers.

5: Passing of Risk (including postal delays / losses)

5.1 The risk in the products will pass to you on delivery, as set out in paragraph 6.3 below. Likewise the risk on any item sent to us passes to us on our safe receipt.

5.2 Prior to delivery we will accept liability for any item dispatched by us to our customer, however we are bound by the timescales of Royal Mail / our couriers in the event of delays and any subsequent investigation into a loss. We will only arrange replacement / refund of a delayed item once it is declared “lost” by Royal Mail / courier.

6: Delivery

6.1 Any date or period for delivery will be considered as indicative only, although it is our policy to try to fulfil all orders within one working day; heavy items might take longer to deliver. We cannot be held responsible for delays in the delivery caused by our suppliers, or any other third party. In the event that an item is out of stock or delayed then we will inform you.

6.2 All products are sent by Royal Mail or Courier.

6.3 You bear the risk once the products have been signed for/received.

7: Acceptance

You will inspect products within a reasonable time after their receipt and you will be deemed to have accepted the products unless you notify us in accordance with paragraph 8 below that you want to cancel your order or you notify us in accordance with paragraph 9 below that the products are faulty. If no such action is taken, we will consider the products being as described, of satisfactory quality and fit for their purpose, and may not accept any rejection or cancellation at a later date. Your statutory customer rights are not affected.

8: Right to Cancel ( Business to Consumer only)

8.1 As a consumer, you have the right under Consumer Contracts Regulations to cancel your order with us at any time before the expiry of 14 days from the day after the date of delivery. However we must insist that all goods are returned to us in exactly the same condition as sold eg unused, undamaged complete with ALL accessories and in sealed original packaging. We cannot accept any return on satellite dishes or lnb’s unless they are boxed and unused. (please note that “business to business” distance selling is not covered under Consumer Contracts Regulations, although returns due to faulty goods still apply).

A restocking charge may be made for any item returned that is not faulty and has been unboxed and used as it can no longer be legally sold as new and must be offered as a “Customer Return” for resale. In addition missing items eg remote controls, instruction manuals etc will be charged for if not returned.

We can only accept the return of satellite viewing cards in the event that they have not have been activated, which is achieved upon first use, or by registration to an end user. This also applies to any piece of equipment that allows access to programmes by means of a subscription or allows access to encrypted broadcasts.

Activation either by first use by the purchaser or by us activating the subscription is deemed as acceptance of goods under consumer distance selling regualtions.

We will refund in full the cost of goods returned (providing they are received in the same condition as sold) within 14 days of receipt, minus the cost of delivery. Alternatively you may require exchange of goods. If the items are to be collected they must be made freely available to any courier we chose to appoint to collect and the cost of recovery will be deducted from any subsequent refund. Further charges will be made where couriers are unable to collect where arrangements have been made.

8.2 Unless faulty, after 14 days any exchange or refund will be at our discretion.

8.3 Set out in paragraph 10 below is our Returns Procedure with details of how to return items purchased from this Site.

9: Faulty Items

9.1 Any item that appears faulty at the point of sale must be reported to us immediately in order that we can provide after sales support and may be returned for free replacement or refund, provided you have the original receipt or alternative proof of purchase and the faulty item is returned complete with all components unused and intact. Items being returned to us that are not faulty will be returned to the customer after testing and a handling charge may be made.

9.2 Support must be obtained prior to returning any items deemed faulty as set out in paragraph 10.1 below.

9.3 Any item that develops a fault after 14 days must be returned either to us or our appointed agent for repair after contacting us for support.

9.4 All equipment purchased from this site has a 12 month guarantee against electronic defect of its own components, unless stated otherwise. We are not however responsible for any changes in satellite transmissions which we as a 3rd party have no control over.

9.5 Please note that you will not be entitled to a replacement or refund in respect of used items or where components including packaging are missing.

10: Returns

10.1 Support must be obtained either by telephone or e-mail before returning anything for repair, as a handling charge will be made against any item returned to us that is not faulty or where no advice has been sought from us.

10.2 Items being returned must be accompanied by a purchase receipt, be in their original packaging and unopened unless faulty. Customer returns are processed within two weeks of our receipt and are subject to the terms and conditions outlined above.

11: Opening Times & availability

11.1 We are primarily a Mail Order Company, so whilst personal callers are welcome we must insist that you call us first to discuss your requirements, means of payment and arrange a mutually convenient appointment. We are not open for personal callers at weekends.

11.2 Our opening times for telephone callers are 9.00 am – 5.00 pm , Monday to Friday. We cannot guarantee availability for telephone callers at weekends or bank holidays.

11.3 Our Online Shop is however open 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, and we will endeavor to answer e-mails around the clock and over weekends and bank holidays.

12: Special Offers

12.1 Online prices are only available to customers who either order online through this website or who order over the telephone and quote our online offers, otherwise standard normal mail order / shop prices will be offered by default. Customers who collect from our premises however will have to pay standard mail order / shop prices.

12.2 Special Offers are not available in conjunction with any other offer.

12.3 Special Offers including discounted products are not available in conjunction with Online Prices.

12.4 Price Matching where possible will be attempted like for like, against identically offered products that are advertised for less by a competitor, providing the item is in stock with the competitor, and that the competitor is a “proper dealer”, is vat registered and not offering the product by way of an auction site or a forum special promotion. We cannot guarantee however unconditionally to be able to offer price matching.
